Art is not for life. It is for lifetimes.Arcastra ensures that legacy remains true.
Provenance is the documented history of an artwork — who created it and how its ownership changes over time. In the art world, provenance helps establish authenticity, trust, and long-term value.
Arcastra is developing a system that connects physical artworks to a permanent digital record confirming who created the work, when it was registered, and how ownership changes over time. This record helps collectors trust what they are buying and allows artists to remain connected to their work as it moves through the market.
UK law already grants artists a resale royalty when their work is sold through the art market. Arcastra is being designed to support that framework — including automated notifications when works reach the statutory threshold so artists can register with the appropriate collecting society.
